¶ Player Shops
Unlike the default /shop available within Skyblock Dream, the player shops are made by you, the player,
and therefore have a fully customizeable price for the specific item. These shops allow every player within Skyblock
Dream create their own stores to offer, or even ask for items at the price they want!
Within this page, we will walk you through the steps required in order to create your first store!
¶ Offering Items
If youre main interest is to generate income through the use of your shop, you are able to create an "Offering Store". By doing so, any player that comes to your island will be able to purchase the item you are offering for the specific price you listed, along with the specific amount of items you offered.
In order to create this shop, you must perform the following steps in order:
- Determine the ID of your item: You must first determine the id of the item you'd like to
sell. In order to do so, you must type the command
/itemno. You will then be given the item's id. - Place a sign on the desired chest: Once you've determined the id of the item you'd like to offer, place a sign on the chest you will be using to advertise your shop.
- Label the sign: Once you've placed down the sign on the chest, you must fill it in with the
following information
- Leave this line empty.
- [Item Amount]
- B [Price]
- [ItemID]
- Voila! You've done it! You have successfully created your first shop.
¶ Asking for Items
Alternatively, you may also request items from players. It is common for players to place chest shops within their islands to ask for items they are missing, such as fragments, and spawners, amongst others. The process of creation for a "Request Shop" is not much different than the previous one. Nevertheless, these are the steps:
- Determine the ID of your item: You must first determine the id of the item you'd like to
buy. In order to do so, you must type the command
/itemno. You will then be given the item's id. - Place a sign on the desired chest: Once you've determined the id of the item you'd like to offer, place a sign on the chest you will be using to advertise your shop.
- Label the sign: Once you've placed down the sign on the chest, you must fill it in with the
following information
- Leave this line empty.
- [Item Amount]
- S [Price]
- [ItemID]
- Voila! You've done it! You have successfully created the chest shop.
NOTE: Be really careful with the suffixes used within the shop's price line. "B" stands for "buy", whilst the "S" stands for "sell".
